Rasini & C., London and Fairway Investment Partners Inc., New York have agreed to merge their Hedge Fund Research, Advisory and Distribution activities as of January 2011. The new firm will be renamed Rasini Fairway Capital.

Rasini Fairway Capital will provide institutional clients, family offices and high net worth private clients access to an independent hedge fund research team in London and New York and a broad fund of funds offering in the areas of Long/Short Equity, Multi-Strategy and Emerging Markets. These strategies will be offered as offshore funds, Swiss regulated and domiciled funds, and Luxembourg UCITS III funds.

This merger combines two independent boutiques that have shared similar values and investment philosophies since 1992 and will continue to offer its clients first-class global research and portfolio management capabilities in the alternative space. Presently, Rasini Fairway Capital is advising assets of approximately $500million.

Rasini Fairway Capital remains strongly convinced that the future of alternative investments is promising and that professionally managed fund of funds and/or portfolios of hedge funds will offer great value to sophisticated investors.
